Stained Glass Classes
Are you a "hands on" type of person that wants to learn a new craft? Do you have a few friends that you think might join you?
I offer stained glass classes both at my home studio in Auburn, NY and at my Skaneateles, NY studio. I limit classes to 2-4 students so everyone gets plenty of personal attention. The classes meet for 2 hours once a week for 6 weeks. The cost of the introductory class is $160. Students pick out a pattern (I have selected books to choose a pattern from) and buy glass for their piece at Camillus Stained Glass (in the village of Camillus) before the first class. Students also need a decent glass cutter of their own. All other materials are supplied by me including tools, grinder, foil, chemicals and solder.
Your first project will measure at least 8" x 10" and remember, you pick your pattern! If you decide to continue with stained glass as a hobby, the equipment and supplies you will need cost less than $200. I also offer one-on-one jewelry making classes as well as advanced classes.
